With the inverted cup method, the water sits against the fabric which produces a higher rate of breathability as the fabric isn’t buffered by an air gap.
Studies have shown the inverted cup method can more adequately determine levels of comfort for high physical activity because it eliminates the influence of air.
The water bath is heated to the required temperature of 23 C and maintained evenly through the bath though the use of a circulation pump
Test station platform is easily adjustable to ensure that the samples are immersed to the proper depth in the bath.
Digital display provides simple and precise control over the water bath temperature
