To calculate the crimp in yarn affected by knitting or weaving, to determine actual yarn usage.
Threads are removed from a strip of fabrics of known length, straightened by a tension, then measured in the straightened state. Two tension ranges available (0-35 g and 0-175 g) and test length is 120 cm (48 inches).
