The ERX55 – X-Rite is a non-contact inline transmission spectrophotometer for measuring color, visual light transmission and correlated haze in transparent films and panes. It provides continuous production-line monitoring and can connect with ESWin software for automated color adjustments.
Color shifts during production can result in costly waste, rework, and delayed time to market. Designed to measure color, light transmission and correlated haze in transmission on any production machine, the ERX55 is an inline, non-contact spectrophotometer for transmission measurement on transparent film or panes. When paired with ESWin CLCC software, it becomes an automated inline quality control system that performs color adjustments automatically.
The ERX55 non-contact transmission inline measurement device continuously measures color, visual light transmission, and haze on the production line. Operators can correct even slight changes immediately. It is easy to operate and offers comparisons to specific standards or absolute measurements. When paired with ESWin QC software, it provides actionable guidance.
With a spectral range from 330 nm to 730 nm with 1 nm optical resolution, the ERX55 delivers best-in-class measurement results. The spectral curve provides detailed information about transmission for early adjustments. It also detects the efficiency of the protective UV layer used in building materials, such as PC sheets, to minimize usage of expensive coating materials.
Measures 26mm (1″) from the sample, 239mm (9.4″) from the transmission receiver, and up to 1000mm (39″) from the edge of the sample.
Built with durability in mind, the ERX55 is rugged enough to endure busy production lines without compromising measurement accuracy.
Frequent automatic calibration is done to ensure reliable measurements, even in rough production environments.
