The X-Rite Cup and Cylinder Fixture (Ci62-803) is a specialized sample-positioning accessory designed to make color measurement of cups and cylindrical-shaped products more accurate, consistent and efficient. It works with compatible X-Rite Ci60 Series and eXact Family handheld spectrophotometers to position curved samples correctly during measurement.
Measuring color directly on curved surfaces can be challenging because the shape of the sample can affect measurement positioning and consistency. Traditionally, manufacturers may cut a section from a finished cup, bottle, sleeve or other cylindrical product and flatten it before measurement. This approach can create additional labor, product waste and safety concerns.
