| The FIBRESTRESS measures the resistance of synthetic or natural fibres, hairs, yarns or monofilaments to mechanical stress caused by friction or bending. It allows forecasting the pilling properties of fibres as well as resistance to wear and tear, or to combing, in the case of human hair.
Groups of 25 samples are simultaneously tested to considerably increase the testing efficiency. |
